The two ministers engaged in discussions covering several topics of mutual interest, including cooperation and sports reforms, the professionalization of sports, and sharing experiences in sports policy. Dr. Lidi Bessi Kama took the opportunity to highlight Togo’s achievements and to pay a heartfelt tribute to President Faure Gnassingbé for his efforts in implementing effective sports policies for the benefit of Togolese athletes. French Minister of Sports Amélie Oudéa-Castéra praised Togo for being one of the few countries with a female Minister of Sports, emphasizing that this reflects good governance and the promotion of gender equity.
